�The Great Buster� is billed as �a celebration,� helping to distance the picture from a documentary label that it doesn�t entirely earn. Instead of a meticulous biographical study of Buster Keaton, director Peter Bogdanovich uses screen time to remind audiences of the subject�s brilliance when it came to making comedies, filing through Keaton�s achievements, not the finer points of his life.
