When we last saw director James DeMonaco in action, it was 2021�s �This Is the Night,� which pulled the helmer away from his duties overseeing �The Purge� franchise to make a coming-of-age movie about the wild night when �Rocky III� opened in Staten Island. At least it wasn�t another �Purge� sequel. DeMonaco tried a dramedy on for size, and it didn�t quite work, urging him back to horror for �The Home,� co-scripting the endeavor with Adam Cantor.
