Searching the west for the outlaws who killed his brother, Jack Wood stumbles upon the Mexicali Kid unconscious in the desert and saves his life. The young hombre becomes loyal to Jack. They proceed to Payson City where Gorson, the crooked manager of the Payson Ranch, hires Jack to pose as the heir to the land that he plans to steal. All trails lead to bullets, blood and a full serving of six-shooter justice.
