�The Power� initially presents itself as a ghost story with a unique time period and location, taking viewers to East London, 1974, where the city is enduring evening blackouts, making the first night on the job for a young nurse most difficult. The feature isn�t simply about low-lit frights, with writer/director Corinna Faith trying to develop the material as something more than just a parade of things that go bump in the night.
