It was released in May 2024, part of a new revival of �The Strangers� brand name, which previously died after the limited box office take of 2018�s �The Strangers: Prey at Night.� Producers wanted more �Strangers� and in a hurry, shooting an entire trilogy of films at once, with initial plans to release them all within 12 months.
