�The Void� has plenty of invention to share with hungry horror fans, but it also plays like a mix-tape of genre highlights, and that�s a compliment. Sampling beats from �The Thing,� �Hellraiser,� and �Martyrs,� the feature makes a wonderful mess of blood and guts as it achieves a rare level of suspense, with directors Jeremy Gillespie and Steven Kostanski creating a descent into Hell that�s genuinely mysterious and frightening. �The Void� is rough stuff, but for those who have an appetite for vividly staged screen violence and unsettling tales of evil exposure, this is practically a sure thing ...read more...
