Screenwriters George Powell and Daniel Adams (who also directs) endeavor to explore the story of Boston�s 1974 desegregation busing experience, bringing viewers to a heated point in American history. The potential for a dramatic inspection of racial hostility and parental fears is there for the taking, but Powell and Adams aren�t interested in such a conventional read of real-world horror, weirdly doing their best to avoid a direct understanding of the central event.
