Having recently been released from prison, "Shorty" Matthews visits his girlfriend in London, only to discover she has been killed. Fearing he will be wrongly-accused of being the culprit, he hitches a ride out of town with a long-distance truck driver. But when the real killer continues to prey on London women, Shorty returns with an old flame to prove his innocence.
