Cal McMau makes his directorial debut with �Wasteman,� electing to examine a grim tale of submission from screenwriters Hunter Andrews and Eoin Doran. It�s a prison picture, and one that doesn�t visit the outside world, committed to exploring claustrophobic spaces with intense characters feeling out the limits of power and fear.
