Returning to her ancestral home of Eben Rock, Massachusetts, Lorna Webster (Nancy Kelly) is injured when the bus she is riding in crashes near the town lake. She had been sitting next to a strange old woman whose body is not recovered. Lorna is descended from a judge who condemned fifteen women to be burned as witches. Shortly after her arrival in Eben Rock, mysterious events remind Lorna of a curse placed on her family by one of the judge's victims.
