The former Boston College player and Skowhegan resident replaces 20-time state champion Paula Doughty.

The iconic coach won’t return to the River Hawks’ helm after 44 years, during which she won 20 state championships.

The senior became more of a playmaker for the Stags this season and led them to a third straight Class A title.
