It is a well-known fact that everybody has his own gift, but if you want to use your girt in your job, would it need something more to achieve success?
Doubtless, that if a person has some gift, sooner or later he will notice it. However, it seems to me that if you don't work on your gift, it cannot be used to the full extent. For instance, if you draw well, but you are not aware about different techniques and styles of painting, you cannot develop as an artist, it means that your works will never be recognized as world masterpieces because you are not a professional.
Perhaps we should also point out the fact that if said you are talanted in painting, music, dancing, and you do not practice, you will never know at which style you are most gifted. For example, if you have a beautiful voice, but you don't practise singing in different styles, it is impoosible to realize what manner is the most suitable for you.
From these arguments one could conclude that having a gift is not enough to be professional at what you are gifted at. Besides talent, you also need practice to learn how you can apply your gift best of all.
