My wonderful family consist in six members: my dad, my mother and my three sisters, Margaret, Diane and Jacqueline and me. We had a simple nice infancy, full of love and caring. My parents always thought us the values of life and to choose what is good. We where brought up in a Christian Catholic family.
Our house was the “home sweet home”. My father was the main worker in the family, and through that, he showed great love and sacrifice. We always use to be together for outings and entertainments and Sunday Mass, etc... This shows that my parents were dedicated to the family.
When something used to go wrong, advisement took place. My parents did not let go! Ask pardon and begin again! It was an ongoing growth! But always happy caused we were all loved.
Years passed by and I was the first one who left home to embrace the religious life which I am fond of. Some years later my sisters began to get married and had children and left home as well. Margaret married Reno and has Charlene, Diane married Louis and have Daniella and Roberta and Jacqueline married Tarciso and have Gabriel and Svetlana.
Life goes on! And a great thing happened! In the end of august, 1999, my mother felt sick! Diagnostic her physical condition, the doctors found that the cancer that was in act, and she had to submit to the chemio therapy. Moments of suspense for all of us! And her Calvary began and lasts eleven months.
It was the moment to demonstrate her operative faith! Yes, she did it! I can testify this because I had the great opportunity to accompany all her illness and I really thank God for that. My mother’s faith was great! She tried hard to transform suffering in Grace! Who was near in her last moments, can declare that in her agony, she was still able to thank God and to pray Our Lady, whom she was so devoted, the litany of all saints. In this atmosphere she rested in peace forever. It was on august 19, 2000.
