Servullo Mendez – Make up artist and hair beauty bring to WOW his POP Trend Make Up Inspiration, we are really proud to show the work of this amazing makeup artist – Servullo born in France, start he’s career in the beauty world in Paris, and his experience took him to other fashion cities like New York, London and Milan, today he is based in Berlin since many years has develop a great career in the fashion, advertising industry, he’s job made him recognized in International Advertising Awards.
Servullo a huge Madonna fan since the early times when she was trashy and super avant-garde, he sad ones “been a make up artist it is not hard bee fascinated by the Queen of the pop, and has no way to be no influenced by her multiples make up looks and style”.
Lately we’re inside of this pop wave of Ménage, Rihanna, Perry, who you never really know how they looks like, they change every week/ some daily their looks what gives a great confusion about their image, seems they are desperate looking for to be the next Pop Queen or even find a little spot in this monster wave.
The main idea of this project was to bring a normal girl, (*I mean she is not a model nothing against), who would have some details what would make possible to Servullo create this different Makeup Moods Effect all inspired of the different Madona Eras recompilation of the golden time 80’s 90’s – when he meet his Personal Trainer Frankisca he saw our her featured that her beauty would work perfectly for the ideas he had, of course he took a while to convince her that she had a Madonna thing, finally she accept and there it is an amazing work.
Talking one day with Servullo about this Crazy Pop Monster Wave he told me not long time a go him and the photographer?? work on in a Make Up Art Project about Madonna Make up’s Style what he’d appreciate most. I thought! Revival of a real Pop Artist, knowing him of course it would look’s great. He’s a crazy fan,. so when I saw it, had come immediately an idea to show it on WOW a Make Up Trend inspired in the real make up trend setter from the POP World, she’s been a trend setter in this last 25 years and no better Make up artist and huge fan of Madonna to revival this trends.
All the Madonna make up looks are use like a reference when the fashionist are talking about Mood Trends for any editorial work, and when the professional want to make clear a point about the beauty idea, they can say just Madonna and year date, it become clear for everybody about what is the beauty idea, can be a easy reference like Madonna Lipsticks in the 80’s or Madonna eyeliner from early 90’s - Madonna =Fashion Fashion = Madonna.
The make up work make a model become Madonna using different techniques use for special effects in cinema and advertising, to get reproduce the real make up what the queen us to have in her different hype moments of her career.
