Also known as Mel by loved ones, Melanie Ravenwood, or otherwise known as the Roaming Bride of Ravenwood Manor. Is one of the many Ghosts haunting Ravenwood Manor up the top of boot hill in thunder mesa.

As a young girl, she contacted to Dysentery, and unfortunately passed away, however despite it being her time, the reaper tasked with guiding her soul to the afterlife, fell in love with her at first glance, and decided to lead her soul back to her body, thus bringing her back to life.

As a young woman, she was sought after by many men over the following years, however the strange Thing about it, is that whenever someone proposed to her, or step foot in her home, would be found dead the next day. This made People create rumours behind her back, saying she casts a curse on her "victims" to die if they upset her, but the most common rumour, that even the Servants of the Ravenwood estate started to believe, that Melanie's own father, Henry Ravenwood, believes that nobody is good enough for her daughter, hence he kills them when they least expect it. This drove Melanie's father to a deep depression, he loves his family, especially his daughter, and all he wants is for her to be happy, so for people to make such claims makes him sad.

One day, she meets a miner down her father's mining company named Jake, while they had a rocky start, they soon bonded, and soon, fell in love with each other. And while she knows her Father loves her, there's no way in hell he'd ever approve. However they couldn't keep it a secret anymore, and finally revealed their love for each other to Henry, who surprisingly welcomed Jake with loving arms, and ordered for a wedding to be prepared.

However, a new tragedy struck, when Henry and Martha Ravenwood, who were visiting the mine to check the progress the progress of the mining, a sudden earthquake happened, trapping them inside, killing him. This made Melanie heartbroken, postponing the wedding for many months, especially since Jake was there, and hasn't shown up since the quake. But when Jake returns, The wedding commences. But when this happens, a cloaked figure with a skull-mask(or so it seems...) Introduces himself as "La Fantome" and is here to see Melanie, who was busy putting the finishing touches on her dress and hair. After she finishes, she walks to the alter, but confused, as Jake hasn't shown up yet. Though one of the maids say they saw Jake walking up to the attic with a cloaked figure in a skull-mask. Melanie gets suspicious, so grabs a candelabra, and walks up to the attic, However with each step, the closer she gets, the more shakier the mansion gets, but the attic door is locked, so uses one of her father's old muskets, and shoots the lock open, this gaining access.

Inside... She's too late, the hanging body of her lover, Jake, is found on the rafters, and at the top, the mocking laughter of the cloaked the figure, who reveals that the skull mask isn't a mask, but rather his actual face, and reveals that he's the Reaper that brought her back to life, and everything he's done, was to win her love, taking the souls of those who insulted her, calling her names, making rumours behind her back, and even taking away the many suitors that made her feel uncomfortable. Melanie however, confronts him, saying that all he ever did, was making her life even more miserable. This makes the Phantom snap, believing that if he isn't good enough for her, than she shall fall along with him. Cursing her, the guests and everyone else present, to remain in the Mansion's property, never being able to leave the property forever till Melanie decides to be with The Phantom.

The People of Thunder mesa say that she still remains, unwilling to be with someone who doesn't acknowledge her as a person more than a mere physical object. And still holds hope that one day, she'll find Jake again, and all of them would be free...
