One of the Many ghosts haunting Gracey Manor.

Penélope and her sister Yolanda were witches, and were capable of transforming into different kind of animals, but Penélope specifically was only evet capable of transforming into different kinds of felines. The two escaped persecution and came to live in New Orleans where they became the center of attention due to their beauty, and were often persued by many men intending on courting the two.

Yolanda got the most attention and admiration, for both her youthful face and lovely singing voice, and one day she met a man who owned Gracey Manor at the time, whom she fell in love with, and not long after, the two got married. Penélope was slightly envious, but nonetheless was happy for her sister. But after getting married, Penélope had seen less and less of Yolanda, and was never permitted to see her.

But eventually she was allowed to see her. Penélope was delighted to see her sister, but was surprised that Yolands became all cold and distant towards her, who rarely spoke to her. Penélope looked at her sister's arm and became concerned... She noticed a bruise that looked like a hand. Yolanda tried to reassure her that everything's fine, but Penélope wasn't convinced. Before she left, she gave Yolanda's husband a deathly glare before walking out the porch.

Using her powers, she transformed into a black cat, and sneaked inside Gracey Manor to spy on her sister and her husband. She was horrified, Yolanda's husband would beat her and grab her, and he had been accusing her of cheating on him, which wasn't true. Penélope watched as he grabbed Yolanda by the hand and smacked her to the ground.

Penélope started visiting the Mansion from time to time in cat form, to check on her sister, but kept a distance, because she was aware that she might get her in trouble. She started to spy on Yolanda's husband, and to her disgust, she witnessed him being with other women, and often even going out to the nearby brothels, coming home a day later. Penélope was utterly disgusted, and decided to sneak in Gracey Manor in human form this time, and begged Yolanda to leave her husband. Yolanda kept refusing, and began to break down in tears, and told Penélope that she's afraid that if she did, her husband might try to kill her if he ever found out.

Penélope reminded her that they're witches, and what they're capable of, but as she was talking, Yolanda's husband had returned from "work" when he found the two women. He was outraged, but Penélope confronted him, and demanded him to leave them be or else... When he mockingly asked, "or what?" Penélope transformed into a large black panther before his eyes, she growled as she was ready to pounce and attack. But before she could, he grabbed his gun and shot her in the chest. Penélope dropped to the floor, dead...

As he turned to look at Yolanda, he watched as she yelled in anger, her pent-up rage finally releasing, as she transformed into a tiger and stealthfully clawed her husband's face. He fled in terror, and Yolanda ran to her sister who was still bleeding from the gunshot... Seeing that there was one more bullet left... Yolanda shot herself to join her sister in death...

The sisters subsequently became part of the Mansion's many ghosts, and Penélope herself was given of portrait of her which currently hangs in the gallery to this day. And its said that on certain days, if you look closely at her painting, Penélope's visage will suddenly transform into a growling Black Panther...
