So it was around 2022 that a friend of mine introduced me to one of his favorite forms of entertainment; Hololive. Now, I had never heard of these people before, so I figured I’d give it a look. As there is so much material available on them, I’ll be brief in my description of them. Basically, Hololive is a professional all female Japan based Vtuber group. They are further divided into regional groups. There are so many other divisions within them that I really can’t make sense of. The content centers on livestreams that cover a variety of entertainment, from video games to songs. Oddly enough, if you search the names of the Hololive Vtubers on Google, it lists them as “Music Artist”. I suppose it makes some sense, as they tend to release original works. Either that, or it’s just better marketing. Anyway, I viewed various videos and playlists, and I must say…I wasn’t really impressed. Realistically, almost none of the content really interested me.
