Based on one of my last journal entries called "I'm not dead!" it only follows that I should use this title now. GREETINGS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO ONE AND ALL!! As I write I'm listening to a sexy new Kate Rusby album. It rocks. In a quiet, Yorkshire-ish, folk music type of way, it rocks. I'd like to tell you all that the reason I've been off dA for almost two years was due to going on some grand, exciting adventure, fighting dragons and showing off my skills as a paladin, traveling the world and being awesome. But that would be a huge lie. I fell into a massive bought of depression and trying to annihilate myself became my on-the-side hobb
Honestly. So.. I owe a recent burst of artistic arse to my brother, who bought me the complete series of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood for Christmas. I watched it over a 5-day period (two discs a day) and until that point had quite forgotten how much of a drooling screaming fangirl I was for Roy Mustang. And then he lit my fires (so to speak) and there it was, the inspiration to draw. They dont call him the Flame Alchemist for nothing. I've been trying to get my head around the version of Paint on Windows 8.. Its got a lot of new things I dont know what to do with. So for now I'm sketching, I'm hoping to see if I can do some nice colour
No motivation to draw at all. No inclination to write anything decent. ..
