Well I finally hit 100 deviations and I decided to have a clear out.  I read somewhere once that you should never chuck away your early drawings as they are a measure of how far you have come.  I haven't trashed them, but I am slightly ashamed of my early stuff so they have been  removed from DA and relegated to a folder on my computer. It is a measure of how far I have come.  I also realise that I am far better with pencil and paper than I am with digital art.

Ooh it's been a while since I posted here.  Well I've moved away from digital art to give pencil drawing a bash, and I am LOVING it!  I was afraid to go back to pencils after so many years of not drawing, but I have been practicing and I now find it easier than working digitally.  I love the fact that it is me producing this art, i can't cheat by cutting and pasting if an eye is too high of low, or using transform if I made it too small or it's at the wrong angle.  It's so much harder, but at the same time much more satisfying producing my work using just pencils and paper.  And now it's beginning to get easier to see where I've gone wrong, o

Well I haven't been drawing too much lately.  Worked on tidying up some other art I did in the past, one of which was my Snow Cat I redid and got printed as my christmas cards this year.  Also tidied up the painting I did for my partner as his grandfather's christmas present.  . I am having a huge monitor for christmas which hopefully will help me improve my artwork as I will be able to see everything better - currently working from a 13" macbook, and to be fair it is no good for drawing on.
