LiteratureMucking OutMucking Out During the summer you're supposed to stop mucking out. The wheelbarrow gets taken to the hose and washed down, removing the inevitable thick brown sludge that has hardened to a crust, to show the sky blue underneath. It slots into place against the wall, and lays there to grow dust and cobwebs until the third day of November, when it will be needed again. My wheelbarrow has never been clean for long. It is June, exams are over, and it is hot. One of those blissful days when the sun shines down on the tarmac and dries the mud, which dusts about all over the yard and coats your bare arms in a fine layer of dirt. People around me sMisc. Then, I attended an author talk where, having seen the audiences' similar scathing opinion of the genre, the author in question proceeded to argue the case in favour of fan-fiction. His arguments changed my opinion completely. Having contemplated them and added my own overMisc. Writing

LiteratureTFFT - Sir OrfeoWhen the Roman empire fell, many lives changed. Countries freed themselves from their captors hands, Christianity began to spread. Life would never be the same for the people of earth again! Did you ever pause to think, however, about how these momenteous events affected the Roman Gods? I can tell you it dealt them quite a blow. Knocked off their pedestal by a newcomer, they tumbled back down to the land of mortals, where they had elevated themselves with stories of their adventures. They fell back to earth, like the Greek gods before them. What happened to all of them specifically, I cannot say. Many have never been heard of again. It is saScraps
