I keep seeing talk of fat shaming pop up. Why? Why do that to someone? What is it about people being fat versus people with other issues that compels people to do that crap? Is it because our issue is so obvious? Most people who are fat are well aware of their situation but it's not as cut and dry as some think it is. Obesity tends to be a byproduct of emotional issues for many, and I fall into that category myself. Essentially food is my drug and I have definitely struggled and paid a price for it in recent years. What would happen if someone started fat shaming me?
