I too wander down halls of cold obsidian and see eyeless, faceless creatures emerge from the walls to leer at me. I too have been taken, stolen from the life I should have had. Persephone and I were both children of sunshine. We frisked through fields of flowers and wove marigolds into our braids. We stood in the long grass and let the sun warm us, sending delicious warmth all the way down to our bare feet and uncut toenails. What's your favourite artwork you made, and why?Jul 30, 2024I haven't been on dA much these days, pouring my heart and soul (and all my time) into my costume, but I thought I'd drop by again. One of the woes of being an artist on the internet is that any of your art that isn't brand-new is unlikely to get much love. While that makes some sense- there's a lot to love out there, and it's nice that all artworks get a chance when they're fresh off your hands- it also means some of our best artworks often don't get much time to shine after. So that's why we're here, at my excuse to give away my fragments in the form of diamond badges before they expire. Bit bummed, I had been saving them for special occasions to unexpectedly brighten up someone's day, but I won't encounter enough of those in the next month, especially not with my current level of activity. I meant what I said though- your best artwork deserves some love, and so I invite you to share it in the comments. Take a moment to revisit what you love about it.
