Welcome to my little refuge! I am Jonas, a photographer and nature enthusiast. I am striving to find ways to express my creativity in different styles of photography

And, I am massively influenced by music. There are a lot of lyrics that have an impact on my art or the way I interpret it. You can find some of these lovely lyrics below my photos. Now, that you are already here, dip into my gallery. Hope you enjoy.... : - )

Welcome to the winners announcement of our Photo Contest, with the beginning of 2021 our group FlowerPhotograph hosted its first Photo contest. With the upcoming cold season in Europe we decided to collect photos of winter flowers, ice and cold colors. We are very happy that several artists contributed their photos to our gallery. So, the rating was a pure pleasure. Let's dive into the winning entries and the other contributions: 1st place winner: AdrianGoebel This wonderful image perfectly represents the contest's theme. The square format supports the flowers symmetry nicely. Additionally the centric composition really calms the viewer eyes. The many smallest ice crystals on the flower petals make this image indeed unique! Its a well deserved 1st place winning entry. Congratulations. In addition, we will feature Adrians most beautiful flower photos during the next months in our group :) 2nd place winner: Isischneider Congratulations to the 2nd place winner! With

Hello folks, thank you for having a look at our new monthly Garden feature. The July feature was a true success - we had so many wonderfully captured wildflowers. Please check it out, if you haven't yet. Wildflower Feature --> here Since we opened our monthly garden feature to more than just flower's colors, we thought to stick with it. So this August you have the chance to show your favorite original golden flower shots. This includes: - of course golden or yellow flowers - flowers in a "golden" light so like sunrises or sunsets (the flower's color doesn't really matter there) - if there's the golden sun in your picture include it here, please. I'll show you some example of mine below, but do not feel to restricted to it. Let's get creative again :la: We would like to the see golden and shiny flower photographs! Check out the gallery folder --> here Examples: Have a great August!

It is the beginning of August and time for another monthly feature! Some weeks ago we asked you to send us your favorite wildflower photographs. If you ask me, I am totally blown away by the sendings! So many wildflowers of different shapes, colors and regions. Stunning. It is important to me, to use this opportunity to combine your wonderful entries with a message. During the last years ecological topics got more sharply into the focus of political and societal discussions. I am very grateful for that! As a nature enthusiast I am in love with flower, nature and animals. But before I am drifting off the topic...I want to write some points to the importance of our beautiful wildflowers: Why wildflowers matter - most importantly wildflowers support insects with food in form of leaves, pollen, nectar and seeds. Due to mother nature's smartness wildflowers are blooming within different periods a year, which means the supermarket for insects will provide food for almost every season.
