Plastic Glossy EffectSep 29, 2018As I've said before, I've kind of become many people's go-to artist for statuefication/mannequinization, which is a little odd to me since I don't share those fetishes. But unlike some other fetishes I don't share but which I won't name, they don't turn me off, so I'm always game to portray frozen figures in a commissioned image. ;) I've gotten a lot of compliments on the glossy skin effect I'm able to achieve on these poor frozen heroines' skin: As many of you know, I'm not one to hoard information, so here's how I achieve this effect if you want to duplicate it. (Of course this assumes you're using Daz Studio and the Iray render engine.)All

Who is Duster?Jul 18, 2021So what exactly do I mean by the question posed above? Well, my thoughts on this were prompted by a question from @dellcartoons about my recent image of my main original character in a sexy outfit. DC asked "When she's doing this, or the studio pics, does she think of herself as Dr. Candace Roberts or as Duster? Or is there no real difference in her mind?" My answer to the last part of that comment is that yes, there is a definite difference in her mind—and in mine as well. I came across a psychological theory several years ago which maintains that all of us have several sub-personalities within us, unified into an overall personality. This makes sense to me. Think about how you behave at work, versus how you behave with friends, versus how you behave with your family or spouse, versus how you behave behind the (illusory) anonymity of the internet.
