I wanted to complete the set of alicorns in my normal headcanons, so here's Cadence for ya, and I'll do Flurry Heart as well. And because I can't really do one without the other, Shining Armor will be along shortly, with Spike to round out the siblings. After that, I'd really like to do Nightmare moon and Daybreaker. I also have plans for more work in the Ascension AU, including some new entrants. What can I say, I like designing alicorns. And there's nobody who can stop me.

I'm not terribly enthusiastic about Cadence's canon color pallet. Translating it into my style ends up looking pale and washed out. But adding some darker tones and work gradients helps tremendously, and I like how it turned out. Doing the stripes of color in hair was hell though.

One of these things is not like the other. One of these thing does not belong.

UPDATE: Made another eddit, because I forgot to color the hair ribbon.
