Contest: Scary Posters to Draw in the Dark6 days agoHeeeere's Johnny another contest! Halloween is around the corner - which means it's time to watch horror movies. Many have been made, and many are very well-known by this time... and those are what this contest is all about For this contest, you have to draw a poster for a classic horror movie. Rules: The poster should be relevant for the movie you have chosen. How? That is up to you! You can feature characters, scenes, scenery... Anything goes! The movie has to be a classic, so it has to be considered as great/significant in one way or another. The artwork has to be either digital or traditional art. AI and photomanipulations are not allowed. Your work has to be made for this contest, meaning no artwork submitted before October the 13th. You must mention the contest in the description. Feature: Writing tutorials + undiscovered artAug 14, 2024It is time to feature more tutorials and undiscovered art! :dummy: As usual, the feature will be divided into two parts. The first part includes tutorials on how to design characters and creatures, and the second part is a selection of artwork I’ve discovered recently with fewer than 50 favourites. Previous features are linked at the bottom of the journal, and I post a new feature each month on my profile, usually around the 15th :la: This month, we'll focus on an art form which can be a bit hidden on DA, namely writing. There are a lot of good stories, fan fiction and poetry out there, though - as well as some excellent tutorials on writing!
