Synopsis

With 1.3 billion inhabitants, and on the verge of becoming the world's leading economic power, China has gone beyond the cliché of an exotic country with a millenary culture to become a modern and thriving country, a new land of opportunities where everything is possible. That is why thousands of young people, children of an old Europe that is getting older and older, carry their ambitions in their suitcases and cross nine thousand kilometers of distance ready, like the pioneers, to conquer the Far East. Thus, Braulio (Julián López), after his misadventures in Berlin, moves to Hong Kong in search of new opportunities. But for Braulio his experience in China will start off on the wrong foot until Xiao (Chacha Huang), a different and modern girl with expectations for the future, crosses his path. Both will see in each other an opportunity to achieve their goals: the young woman will use him to scare off the suitors her father is looking for, while he will try to marry her to obtain residency and avoid his expulsion from the country. But often things do not turn out as we wish.
