Synopsis
The Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) took by surprise many people who were on summer vacation. In a small town near Barcelona, several friendly families decided to stay in their summer homes until the end of the war. For the children it was a long and unexpected vacation. As the war intensified, the attitude of the adults began to change: some went daily to the city to keep their jobs; others, however, had to remain hidden because of their ideology. (FILMAFFINITY)
