Synopsis
TV Series (2009-2015). 6 Seasons. 121 Episodes. Glee follows an optimistic high school teacher as he tries to transform the school's once top-flight, but now moribund Glee Club and inspire a group of talented but unfocused performers to make it to, and win, the biggest competition of them all: Nationals. In his way is not just the indifferent principal, but also the sponsors of the cheerleading and football groups both of whom see his efforts as detracting from their own. His wife, whose acquisitiveness is out of control, wants him to ignore his love of teaching and quit to become an accountant, so they'll have more money for her to spend.

Critics' reviews
- "[4th Season Review]: Glee is off to a good start. Please let it last."
- "[2nd Season Review]: tonight's season opener proves that 'Glee' is back in its groundbreaking groove, bringing music to the masses and making fun of itself in the process."
- "[2nd Season Review]: It has become a powerful, promotional machine, long on hype and short on the human feeling--the glee--that once made it so addictive."
- "[2nd Season Review]: Ever since it returned for its second season, this off-kilter dramedy has been nailing its high notes while still flaunting its many flaws with even more bravado than before."
- "[2nd Season Review]: So far--although 'Glee' may be creeping closer to the edge--it remains nearly as delightful as it was when everything about the show seemed shiny and new."
