Synopsis
Following a fateful car accident, a brilliant brain surgeon is subjected to a series of tests that reveal he has cancer and needs a bone marrow transplant. In order to survive, he’ll have to ask his parents for help. His parent’s response will expose to him a story hidden in a past of silence and mystery. In his search, the protagonist discovers that, during the Civil War (1936-1939), a group of children were born with a strange and unknown illness: they couldn’t feel physical pain. Halfway between present day and Civil War Spain and its following years, Insensibles is built over a galloping rhythm and a screenplay full of mystery and twists. You will feel the terror...
