Synopsis
Manolo (Andrés Pajares) works non-stop as an electrician, plumber, bricklayer.... His friends are intrigued by what he will do with all the money he earns, but when someone asks him, he responds laconically "Oh, if I told you". What happens is that Manolo keeps the secret that he has a daughter boarding at one of the most expensive schools in Madrid and that, in addition, the girl believes that her father is a top executive. Everything gets complicated when the boarding school closes and the girl has to go to live with her father. But Manolo will count on the collaboration of his friends, who will make him appear in his daughter's eyes as a great financier. Free adaptation, "Spanish style", of the American film "A gangster for a miracle" (1961) (FILMAFFINITY).
