Synopsis

Marcelino (Adolfo Marsillach) is a shy and shy boy from the provinces who has an inherited chocolate factory in his hometown. To find a wife, he and his mother Matilde (Guadalupe Muñoz Sampedro) have moved to Madrid to the home of his aunt Paula (Julia Caba Alba). One fine day, the boy introduces his mother and aunt to the woman he has decided to marry: Maribel (Silvia Pinal), a 'modern' girl he has recently met and who makes a living in a night bar. At Marcelino's aunt's house, the surprised bride will find herself involved in the secrets and oddities of her fiancé's family. Her friends and roommates and miseries in the bar, Rufi (Trini Alonso), Pili (Carmen Lozano) and Niní (Gracita Morales) will get involved to help Maribel with the mystery surrounding this strange family ...
