Synopsis
The story is about the legend of Eréndira, a young Purépecha woman who in the 16th century, during the period of Spanish colonization, resisted the domination of her territory by the conquistadors, and ended the social structures that prohibited women from actively participating in wars, in addition to becoming an example of resistance for the preservation of her culture.
