Synopsis
Rodolfo Sicilia (Alfredo Landa), head of ideas at Publicidad Dum-Dum, has had the brilliant idea of bringing together whisky and manzanilla in a joint advertising campaign. And to personify this contrast of drinks, he uses two very different singers: Bárbara (Concha Velasco), a modern ye-ye singer, as the representative of whisky and foreign essences, and on the other hand, Antonio Torres (Manolo Escobar), the most popular Spanish singer, as the representative of manzanilla and the Spanish musical tradition. Both will face each other in the multitudinous musical contest "What does Spain sing?" and what starts as a publicity event will end up as a more personal challenge. (FILMAFFINITY)
