Critics' reviews
- "The Zodiac has been made with the dunderheaded flatness of bad '70s TV."
- "The Zodiac regurgitates a lifetime of police-thriller conventions, adding an aura of laughable solemnity in the hope of making the plot seem less banal."
- "Unfortunately, the film lacks the suspense and drama to carry the psychological burden placed on it by its makers"
- "Few films have ever ended on such a low, anti-climatic note as The Zodiac."
