Synopsis

TV series (1988-1990). 2 seasons. 35 episodes.
The events of the series take place 15 years after the last season of the original Mission: Impossible TV series. After his protégé and successor as leader of the top-secret Impossible Missions Force is killed, Jim Phelps is called out of retirement and asked to form a new IMF team and track down the assassin. He brings together a team of four skilled operatives and leads them as they travel the globe conducting "impossible" covert missions forthe U.S. His new team consists of Nicholas Black, master of disguise; Max Harte, self-trained soldier; Grant Collier, technological genius and son of former IMFer Barney Collier; Casey Randall, femme fatale, later replaced by Shannon Reed, another femme fatale and former newscaster and Secret Service Agent.
