Synopsis
An ambitious young Los Angeles department store model, Leonora Eames (Bel Geddes), fulfills her wish to marry a millionaire, Smith Ohlrig, a sick, neurotic and authoritarian man. But the marriage fails, and the young woman decides to separate. She then finds a job as a secretary for an idealistic doctor with a great vocation, Dr. Larry Quinada (James Mason).
