Synopsis
José Luis García-Berlanga directs this tribute to his father. Berlanga is his actors, mostly repeat offenders, and his technical mastery of the sequence shot, so characteristic of his cinema. His films are always the story of a failure, but they are full of tenderness, the tenderness that he himself professed to his characters. Nor can we forget his great sense of humor, an element that runs through his entire filmography. Berlanga's films are part of the canon of Spanish film history, and among them are several masterpieces, such as Bienvenido, Míster Marshall (1953), Plácido (1960), El verdugo (1963), La escopeta nacional (1978) or La vaquilla (1985).
