Synopsis
Fidel (Alfredo Landa) is a young shepherd who is almost the only inhabitant of a village in La Mancha and his father insists that he stays there, as he wants him to receive the inheritance of the once rich woman of the place. But in the will there is a condition: the family that still lives in the village on a certain date will receive the inheritance. The date is approaching and Fidel urgently needs to find a wife.
