Fractions are widely used in our daily activities, such as measuring length, and weight and when dealing with money. Things like health, electricity bills and much more involve them. Therefore, they are essential to understand basic arithmetical and practical mathematical applications.

Some of the common uses of fractions in real life are:

**Cooking and Baking: fractions are used to follow recipes and measure ingredients. Recipes often call for quantities like 1/2 cup of flour, 3/4 teaspoon of salt, or 1/3 cup of milk. Knowing how to work with fractions is essential for adjusting recipe sizes.
