A final ruling may delay the ban for up to 90 days if a sale is close. For small businesses in Alaska and beyond, this creates a wave of uncertainty. TikTok’s unmatched organic reach, visibility, and selling power, especially for businesses in remote areas, has made it a lifeline for many. So, what happens if it’s gone? In a recent conversation with Alaska Public Media's Ava White, Alaska SBDC State Director Jonathan Bittner discussed the potential impacts and shared practical advice for business owners. Listen to the full interview at https://lnkd.in/g-KEZZdhKey takeaways for small businesses: ▪️Explore alternative platforms: Identify where your audience spends time and adjust your strategy. ▪️Build your email list: Own your audience with direct communication channels you control. ▪️Diversify your presence: Spread your efforts across multiple platforms to reduce dependency. ▪️Act now: Use the remaining time to connect with followers and guide them to your other platforms. TikTok has been a game-changer for Alaskan businesses, helping them reach far beyond local demographics. As we navigate these changes, the Alaska SBDC is here to help you adapt and thrive. What are your thoughts on the potential TikTok ban? How might it affect your business or clients? Let's talk about it.#AlaskaSBDC #SmallBusinessSupport #TikTokBan #AlaskaBusiness
