Now that we’re past the quick birth announcement from earlier today, I thought it would be helpful to provide a little more context for some folks. 1. First I have to say thanks to everyone at Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), Altarum, JBS International, Inc., and W2 Consulting Corporation, the experts we engaged, and all public commenters who helped this come to life. We tried to do this developing space justice with ample input to the best of our abilities. We appreciate everyone who helped us get here! 2. Don’t forget that the The Mobile Crisis Toolkit is a DRAFT and is available for public comment through March 21, 2025. Please read and let us know your thoughts! 3. If someone is trying to figure out how these hundreds of pages fit together, hopefully the infographic below helps… 4. Stay tuned because we are planning a bit of a digital roadshow to help provide additional clarity as well. #988 #988lifelineHere’s a direct link to the documents…https://lnkd.in/gyQuXmY7 - The December 2024 Altarum Health Sector Economic Indicators briefs note that new CMS data report that national health spending grew by 7.5% in 2023, economy-wide inflation has overtaken health care price increases, and health care jobs continue steady climb.
