Two of our BioMOD™ Moving Bed Biofilm Reactors (MBBR) mobile units have successfully been implemented at a prominent paper mill in New York. This year-long deployment will provide a much-needed solution for the mill’s aging infrastructure before it can be updated. The paper mill had been struggling with high loads of BOD/COD in its wastewater discharge and needed a timely solution. Seamlessly integrated, the units augmented the treatment capacity by 100 gallons per minute (gpm) each, significantly increasing the capacity for processing wastewater.
