About us

Charleston Wine + Food infuses homegrown flavor with top chefs, winemakers, authors, storytellers, artisans, experts, and food enthusiasts from around the globe for a five-day event that spans the first full weekend each March. The 501(c)(3) organization was founded in 2004 by a group of loyal community leaders with a vision of creating an event to promote + elevate Charleston’s culinary brand. The goal was to put Charleston on the map as a culinary destination and to bring national + international attention to the city. Over the last 17 years, the festival has welcomed nearly 370,000 attendees and generated over $138.5 million in economic impact. Save the Dates: March 5-9, 2025

Elevate your festival experience and support our nonprofit with our Friends program! This past Saturday, we celebrated with our friends for a Sullivan’s soirée—an unforgettable evening filled with wine, flavors, and creativity in honor of the ’25 Festival! Guests savored delicious bites from Sullivan’s Island favorites, featuring culinary delights from Chef Nick Wilber of Sullivan's Fish Camp and Chef Nate Whiting of The Obstinate Daughter. Each dish was perfectly paired with exquisite wines from the Frederick Wildman portfolio. Local artist Ryan Beck was on-site, creating custom takeaways to make the evening even more special. We’re truly grateful for the chance to celebrate with our friends—cheers to the 2025 Festival! 🥂
