In a remarkable show of support and collaboration, Charleston International Airport, Explore Charleston, and Breeze Airways™ united yesterday to deliver thousands of pounds of critical supplies to Asheville Regional Airport through air and ground transport. The generosity of industry partners and businesses played a vital role in this effort, providing essential supplies and resources to support those affected by the storm. These essential items—including generators, propane, chainsaws, water, linens, hygiene products, mobile sinks, paper products, and non-perishable food items—are crucial to the ongoing recovery efforts in Western North Carolina. AVL is serving as the gateway for these coordinated relief flights, with federal, state, and local agencies working to distribute the supplies to the communities most impacted by Hurricane Helene. We are proud of the tireless efforts of our teams and partners in making this relief possible. Together, we stand strong with our neighbors in WNC as they begin to recover. 🚨🚨 Please do not go to Asheville Regional Airport for supplies.
