It was inspiring to hear insights from both new and tenured team members as they shared their experiences and roles. We celebrated recent wins, discussed growth opportunities, and focused on ways to support our field teams and operations. We are proud to announce that Dr. Sulman Ahmed, our founder and CEO, has established the Dr. Sulman Ahmed Scholarship Fund, a permanent endowment at The University of Texas at Dallas. This fund will support students in the Jindal School's Young Scholars Program, which serves predominantly underrepresented and first-generation students from underserved communities in Dallas ISD. These students face significant barriers, and this scholarship will provide the resources and support needed to help them succeed. As the keynote speaker at the Jindal School's 2024 Scholarship Breakfast, Dr. Ahmed shared his journey—from growing up in Zimbabwe to building one of the nation's fastest-growing dental organizations, DECA Dental Group. He reflected, "UT Dallas gave me the foundation to build my career and pursue my dreams. This endowment is my way of paying it forward, to ensure future generations of students have the same opportunities I did."
