Thank you to the Massachusetts League of Community Health Centers (MLCHCs) for sponsoring the wonderful day of advocacy at the State House earlier this week. Congratulations to our State Representative Adrian Madaro for being recognized as a CHC Champion. NeighborHealth applauds Rep. Madaro’s leadership in advocating for a $75m supplemental funding for all CHCs, which serve as leading providers of care to underinsured and uninsured patients in the Commonwealth. We also extend our gratitude to our state Senator Lydia Edwards and Senator Friedman, and other members of the legislature for their leadership in advocating for CHCs this legislative Session! #chcs #communityhealth #neighborhealth

Dr. Charles Williams, a member of NeighborHealth, has been promoted to Clinical Associate Professor at the Chobanian & Avedisian Boston University School of Medicine. Since joining BU in 1997, Dr. Williams has been a driving force in improving health systems and patient care. His leadership roles include founding medical director of our Family Medicine Department and medical director of Boston HealthNet. Congratulations to Dr. Williams on this well-deserved achievement!
