For over 75 years, MetroPower has served the electrical construction & service needs of residential, industrial, institutional, and commercial communities throughout the United States. Over that time, we have gained a tremendous amount of knowledge and experience with a variety of clients. Our work is meticulously completed in a timely fashion with pride, trust, and value ultimately resulting in total customer satisfaction. MetroPower is an employee-owned company and has 8 offices in Georgia, 3 locations in North Florida and 2 offices in Alabama. MetroPower is part of PPC Partners and we do business as ESS here in the Southeastern US. We work closely with our sister companies: CarolinaPower, Pieper Electric, Inc., MP Systems, Inc., Ideal Mechanical, Spring City Electric, Pieper Automation, and Systems Technologies.

MetroPower sponsored two teams at the United Way of Central Georgia’s 2024 Glad Rags Roaring 20’s Golf Tournament on Friday, December 6th at The Club at River Forest in Forsyth, GA. Glad Rags was founded by the Gibson Family Foundation in partnership with United Way to help well-deserving families experiencing financial difficulties due to unfortunate circumstances. The tournament started in 2009 and is steeped in historical traditions, the love of golf, community, family, and the Christmas spirit. Since its inception, Glad Rags has helped hundreds of individuals have a merrier Christmas than these families expected. Each team member donned their 1920s attire to raise money for these area families. Friday at 7:30 AM, MetroPower attended the 5th Annual Construction Ready Champion Awards Breakfast held at the Cobb Galleria to honor and celebrate Georgia's best field-level employees, employers, and educators in the construction industry. This breakfast was created to recognize individuals and companies that bridge the gap in the industry’s challenge to find and develop craft professionals. By getting involved with local schools to build high-quality craft training programs, and joining the efforts of Construction Ready, MetroPower and other Georgia businesses proactively address the construction industry’s persistent labor shortage. Today is National Day of Giving. This day takes place on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The National Day of Giving encourages us to give back through time, money, or gifts in any way we can. After spending the weekend shopping and looking for the best deals, National Day of Giving reminds us to support those in need. We can reach out to our favorite causes, charities, or churches to extend our reach and assist more people. It serves as a great reminder to uplift others during this generous time of year. In 1863 - Abraham Lincoln proclaimed November 26th as the national holiday, Thanksgiving! This Thanksgiving, let’s put all of our differences aside and just be THANKFUL for who and what we have in our lives. In the grand scheme of life, political differences do not matter. Be Thankful and enjoy your weekend for what this holiday is intended. In 1924 - The first Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade was actually called Macy's Christmas Parade and it extended over six miles. Characters from Mother Goose's rhymes dotted the parade route as well as zoo animals and marching bands. The grand finale and stars of the show were Kris Kringle and his reindeer. Three years later, the famous character balloons began to appear in the parade. Watching the parade, as we prepare for our Thanksgiving dinner, is a tradition in our house, enjoy your Day and your family!
