❤️ Personal share and win: Working with Sesame Workshop. I have an 8 year old daughter. Sesame Street was a core part of her early years. It was a core part of MY early years. Sesame Place Philadelphia was a theme park I went to as a child and that I took my daughter to when she was 2 years old. Full circle. 🫶 I watched all of the Jim Henson Foundation documentaries (did you know that he was a key part of Sesame Street?). I even took a whole course in Puppetting for Television (link in comments!). As the world became more complicated, I began to appreciate more and more what Sesame Street is. How it addressed topics like war. Pandemics. Global turmoil. And how it packaged deep topics in ways children could digest. When I learned that they were a nonprofit, I was blown away. When I learned and had started working in the nonprofit space, I had to participate. Then I noticed their donation form: ❌ Didn't support international currencies or languages (being a worldwide brand!) ❌ Didn't have ApplePay and mobile payment methods ❌ Was overall fairly clunky and not what I expected of a brand like Sesame I asked everyone on our team at Fundraise Up: HOW CAN WE HELP THEM? Do we know anyone? How can we help them do more for children? I have to thank Mr. Chris Marchette, Samuel S., Noah Pitre and Chioma Fasan MBA,CBDE for working with them over the last year, helping them set up a donor experience that, dare I say, even a child could use. 😍 ❤️ If you have children in your life, or Sesame was ever part of yours, please hop over and make a small donation.
