Over the last three weeks, we’ve had the opportunity to meet some inspiring nonprofit professionals in Kansas City, Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Houston. While the headlines are around philanthropy being down, tax exemption threats being made, and macroeconomic uncertainty rattling the nonprofit industry, nonprofit leaders DO NOT skip a beat. Why? The professionals leading these nonprofits are BIG thinkers solving BIG problems. Nothing, and we mean NOTHING, can deter them from achieving their mission. At our recent Connects event in Houston, Funraise CEO and Co-founder Justin Wheeler was encouraged by the simple and straightforward words from Douglas Meikle, CEO of Star of Hope Mission.
